11th November - Gave keynote address to the 'Smartcard and Society' seminar, Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand on "Smart Cards - Threat or Panacea?"

3rd November - Gave opening address to Microsoft Business Intelligence Seminar, Manchester on "ICT for UK plc's competitive advantage & an introduction to Business Intelligence".

26th October - Gave keynote presentation to IoD South Business Transformation Seminar, Ashford on "People & Technology Drivers for Business Success.

20th October - Gave opening address to Microsoft Business Intelligence Seminar, Reading on "ICT for UK plc's competitive advantage & an introduction to Business Intelligence".

19th October -Gave keynote presentation to IoD South Business Transformation Seminar, Basingstoke on "People & Technology Drivers for Business Success.

14th October - Gave keynote speech on "People & Technolgy Drivers for Business Success" at IoD South Business Transformation Seminar, Gatwick.

8th October - Led press conference to announce the results of the IoD Policy Unit "Affordable Broadband Access" survey, IoD, 116 Pall Mall, London.

13th July - Gave evidence to the House of Commons Trade & Industry Select Committee for their "Knowledge Economy" inquiry.

8th July - Spoke at the IIR International Risk Management Congress in London.

22nd June - Recorded a panel session for e-Gov TV on security in public sector ICT systems.

7th June - Spoke at an IPPR Roundtable Seminar "A CIO for Government" in Portcullis House Westminster.

24 March - Member of expert review panel for MBA student group project presentations.   Said Business School, Oxford University.

4-5 March - Participated in the "e-Government in the EU in 2010:  Key policy and research challenges" workshop.   European Commission Institute for Prospective Technological Studies (IPTS) Seville Spain.

26th February - Gave a seminar at the Electrical & Electronic Engineering Department University of Sheffield on "Challenges in the regulation of communications over the next ten years".

19th February - e-Business lectures to Sheffield University Management School MBA students.  Lecture Three "New opportunities - new threats".  Lecture Four "Benchmarking global best practice".

5th February - Spoke at the British American Business Inc (BABI) Evening Meeting on: "E-Commerce and Business Process: Where are we now?".
